| Duties: Repairs, maintains and renovates county buildings using hand and power tools. Performs a wide variety of activities including electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, lock repair and plumbing tasks. Keeps records on repairs and maintenance performed on buildings and equipment. Maintenance workers are given wide latitude for independent decisions in determining repair methods and in the purchasing of materials used. Responds to after-hours emergency calls. | |
Qualification: Ability to read and write in English, ability to read building diagrams, specifications and blue prints plus two years of work in a maintenance related field with experience in plumbing, electrical and carpentry or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Other: Valid Drivers License. | |
