|Duties: Coordinates activities involved with procuring road building materials, equipment, tools, parts, and supplies for the Road & Bridge Department. Work includes requisitioning, receipt, storage, and dispositions of parts and supplies required for fleet operations, conferring with vendors, maintaining familiarity with county and state bid items, assisting in developing specifications for purchases, maintaining records, preparing reports, and supervision of parts clerk.|
Qualification: High school diploma or G. E. D. certificate plus three years of experience in large scale purchasing, preferably including automotive/heavy equipment and construction supplies and equipment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
